Where is my mailbox
and how do I get a key?

Mailboxes are the property of the U.S. Postal Service and locations vary usually at the end of each block. The U.S. Post Office may be reached at 480 802-6783.

When is garbage pick up and
what are the different colored
gabage containers for?

The City of Chandler is responsible for garbage collection. The Black container is for general garbage pick up on Thursday mornings.

The Blue container is for recycling pickup on Monday mornings.

The Large dumsters located in Unit A are for the those residents only.

Can I park my vehicle
in the street?

Parking a vehicle in the street is limited. Guests may park a vehicle in the street up to 20 days while visiting with the SunBird Guest Card displayed on the dash of the vehicle. Residents may apply for a street parking permit is certain conditions are met.

How long can an RV be
parked within SunBird?

RV’s may be parked temporarily in the street for up to 72 hours in a one week period of time to load or unload.

What are the
restrictions for pets?

Pets must be contained in each lot or leashed when walking outside of the owners lot. Any mess created by the pet must be collected and removed immediately. Pets must not become a nuisance to other neighbors.

New SunBird
Home Paint Colors

The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) has been studying the trends of home painting in SunBird. It was recommended to the Board by the ACC to consider restoring the approval of using the paint colors from the old color chart from years ago. After review and discussion with the ACC the Board approved this recommendation June 27 effective July 4, 2011.

The new 2011 palette will include using the current 14 paint colors from the 2008 palette, plus adding 12 more colors from the pre 2008 palette totaling 26 paint colors and allowing any 2 of the these colors for base and trim coverage. The updated color chart is available at the SunBird Office located in the clubhouse.

The Home Depot located at 4141 S. Arizona Avenue provides a 20% discount to all SunBird homeowners purchasing paint at this location. Code for the discount is “4808024901”.

Do I need approval to
paint my home?

Yes, any exterior change to the property includingm but not limited to, exterior painting, landscape, awnings, security.screen doors, concrete work, walls etc. must be approved by the ACC before starting work.
