Pools
SunBird has two (2) swimming pools maintained at a temperature between 85 and 88 degrees (summer months by natures heat) open daily from 7:00 am until 10:00 pm. The pools are for the use of members and authorized guests. The Clubhouse swimming pool is available for various activities. Water aerobics schedule varies with the season. Lap swimming is 9:30 am - 10:30 am. Water volleyball is daily from 12:00 noon until 1:30 PM. Children under 19 years of age may use the pool from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Additional hours for children are available throughout the year. Please see the SunBird News for details. The other swimming pool is located on Oakmont Drive between Cherry Hills and Bellerive Drives. This pool is restricted to all person 19 years of age and older. |
Fitness Room
The fitness room is open daily 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Equipped with 6 treadmills, 4 recumbent and 2 upright bicycles, 3 elliptical cross trainers, 1 nu-step trainer, dumbbells and other exercise equipment.
No one under 16 years of age may use the exercise equipment. Guest 16 - 18 years of age may use the fitness room and equipment only with their host homeowner present. |
Tennis Courts
The four tennis courts with two lighted are available 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. daily.
Pickle ball
Played on the tennis courts every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm.
Basketball
One basketball hoop located on the tennis court #2. A basketball is available at the office for check out. |
Billiard Tables
Six full size commercial grade billiard tables located in the clubhouse. |
